Unusual Livestock Breeds
When we decided to raise our own hormone & antibiotic free beef
for our family, we didn't want to
to go the with the typical "commercial" breeds.
We have chosen the Highland and Icelandic heritage breeds for their
unique qualities: hearty, and naturally disease-resistant.
Our steers are not raised in a factory farm,
controlled environment. They are pasture raised and grass
fed, no high protein, growth-hormone enhanced feed.
